The inclusion of the Kilingon ships from the Kobiashi Maru simulation late in the run time suggests a plot twist that isn't there. That said, they should have not included a shot of the crippled Reliant missing a warp nacelle. Viewers are supposed to attribute this to Klingon aggression, perhaps? Too much for one who committed the dialogue to memory a long time ago.
