Wag the dog. Take back seat to Tail Feathers Wagging the Chicken Hawk.
Going to need a big flashy military parade after this. Definately

I went Googling for pictures of a certain infant wearing certain custom knitted clothes, but haven't met with any success yet...
Which might sound a little creepy when looked at from a certain angle, but not as creepy as the shit Facebook emails me every damn day.

I've never had a Facebook account.

They apparently have taken that as a challenge.

You know, Facebook? Those people you have dug up out of my past to lure me in with? That shit is creepy as fuck. Mentions of my sister or my bass player from 1979 in the subject line do not, in fact, entice me to join Facebook.

I am not a paranoid person. I know my data is being harvested and used to advertise to me. I find that a little bit annoying, but I find pretty much all advertising that way. Also I figure that since I'm the very last person who will ever buy a product because it was advertised to me that way, their multibillion dollar AI powered ad machine is at least failing on one of its targets.

Perhaps it might be due to the fact that I don't really regularly break any laws that could get me incarcerated any more, but I'm really fairly chill about my internet privacy.

I guess I'm just kinda lucky that Facebook never appealed to me enough to make me want to join. I had a MySpace account for a minute, as having one made it easier to access a lot of music that was only on MySpace at the time, but by the time Facebook took over, YouTube was already hosting pretty much all of that music I mentioned, and I just never had a use for it.

Anyway, thanks again for the podcast. One of the bloggers I always read posted about podcasts this week, and I told her about you guys, so perhaps you have some new listeners this week.
