In case you didn't see the link from Brother Charles, here's an Atlantic Monthly article about Andrew Johnson from 1866, that so resonates in the Age of Trump as to remind us that there really is no new thing under the Sun. Not even Both Siderism:

The only danger is, that, in some representative districts, the people may be swindled by plausibilities and respectabilities; for when, in political contests, any great villainy is contemplated, there are always found some eminently respectable men, with a fixed capital of certain eminently conservative phrases, innocently ready to furnish the wolves of politics with abundant supplies of sheep’s clothing. These dignified dupes are more than usually active at the present time; and the gravity of their speech is as edifying as its emptiness. Immersed in words, and with no clear perception of things, they mistake conspiracy for conservatism. Their pet horror is the term “radical”; their ideal of heroic patriotism, the spectacle of a great nation which allows itself to be ruined with decorum, and dies rather than commit the slightest breach of constitutional etiquette. This insensibility to facts and blindness to the tendency of events, they call wisdom and moderation.

The Both Siderists we shall have always with us, it seems. Thank the nearest convenient god we'll also have the likes of E.P. Whipple then, and you now, to call them out on the real effects of what they're saying and doing. Even if a prophet be without honor in his own time, future generations (if any) will know they were there, stubborn as the poet's garbage bags.

The Beltway media have been useless for a very long time. I'm old enough to remember the Washington press corps' fawning over Ronald Reagan despite his repeated lies and blunders (see Mark Hertsgaard's excellent book "On Bended Knee: The Press and the Reagan Presidency"). The media only soured on Reagan after the Iran/Contra revelations.

And just to prove the whole "liberal" media claim is total bullshit, you need look no further than the media's dark obsession with all of the bogus "scandals" associated with Bill and Hillary Clinton. Don't forget that it was Jeff Gerth at the "liberal" New York Times who was the reporter primarily responsible for pushing the Whitewater story into the mainstream.

And finally, let's not forget the mainstream media's simultaneous fawning over George W. Bush and smear campaign against Al Gore during the 2000 campaign. It was idiots such as Maureen Dowd (who apparently still has a column at the NYT) who so crippled Gore's campaign that the vote was close enough to allow the Supreme Court to put Dubya in the White House leading to two unneccesary wars and the worst economic collapse since the Great Depression.

DG wants to know how he and BG cany increase listenership tenfold.

Ideas--
-How does your iTunes product packaging look? Could it be more compelling?
-Does the description read the way you sound? Is it search-engine friendly?
-What other podcast directories are you listed on besides what is mentioned at the beginning of each podcast?
-Are you on other broadcast apps besides what you mention at the beginning?
-Ask listeners for reviews as well as money.
-DG especially, answer your emails.
-Consider doing interviews or taking listener questions during the podcast.
-Hang out more in interactive social media, not zinging the Matthew Dowds of the world but engaging potential listeners.

Good luck

Out on the limb, I am going to assume that if our laws were truly enforced across fiscal lines in the courts. the possibilities are assumable.

Exhibit 1
after trying to intimidate a judge with public scorn. A judge hearing the case of FRAUD against Trump. The Judge lets it be known that he best settle the case instead of the courts official decision.
Trump, who won his election, decides to settle this fraud case with monetary restitution.
Case dropped and closed. No crime. No punishment. No responsibility. No Justice serve. Lesson learned, you can still profit from fraud even when caught and found guilty by settling with those you harmed by paying them part of the money back to the that you fraudulently deceived from them.
pay money back with no admission of legal guilt. Only allows the fraudster to still profit and be more slick in doing it the next time. This is definitely the wealth caste judicial system.

But then,
Fraudulently scamming people out of their money is a religious right. Smack there in the Constitution. So they say.

Consider,
If in fact Trump was not allowed to "settle" without justice for the crime (not just the restitution). Would he have jail time? Could he serve as president from his suite on the top floor in Sing Sing? Believe me!

I live in Ohio, where over 2,800,000 of my fellow Ohioans are enrolled in Medicaid, this includes over 7,000,000 who were enrolled as part of the Medicaid expansion that is a critical element of the Affordable Care Act.

I have been personally lobbying my fellow patients here at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, asking them to contact the office of Senator Rob Portman, and providing contact information for his local and DC offices.
Cincinnati office telephone: (513) 684-3265
DC office telephone: (202) 224-3353

The message is simple:

Joe Joey Joe Joe Joe tweets "what is wrong with you" to president four-year-old as if he didn't know... I'll tell you Joey Joe Joe, he's Donald the fuck Trump. And you helped elect him, so I don't want to hear your outrage and whinging now that the monster you helped unleash is chewing on YOUR ass and Mika's, because not only did you bring this on yourselves, but it's not even the real story here.
The real story here, as is always the case when president four-year-old dodders off into particularly disgusting or offensive behavior (even for him) is somewhere else that he really doesn't want any attention paid to.
And this time, take your pick from the coprophagist's buffet of Friday-before-the-holiday newsdump turdlings:
The CBO's score on the second decade of BCRA carnage, Pete Smith's crack team of ratfuckers who openly and on paper admitted to trying to get hacked Clinton emails from Russian hackers to give to Flynn, president four-year-old's upcoming meeting with Putin to receive his marching orders, the elimination by the house appropriations committee of all of the funding for the agency tasked with protecting our voting systems from hacking and espionage, Kris the fuck Kobach demanding the voter files on every voter in the country along with their voting and legal history and the last four digits of their social security number... You know, stuff like that.
Being willing to forego dignity and human decency is sort of his only qualification to lead the Republican party, and at this point pretty much his job description. Sort of like a really disgusting Zaphod Beeblebrox, but without the extra head and wit and charm.

"I never thought leopards would eat MY face," sob alleged journalists who trained leopards to eat people's faces for the Leopards Eating People's Faces Party.

Sort of like a really disgusting Zaphod Beeblebrox, but without the extra head and wit and charm.

A phenomenon which I have often noticed, Doug.

Let me be clear: using extortion to try and silence media coverage of a president is a BAD THING, probably a WORSE THING than, say, extolling the privileges of wealth and celebrity as they pertain to sexual assault, but I just wanted to sort of remind everyone that while the Access Hollywood tape was busy exploding across the media firmament, the intelligence services were releasing their conclusion that Russia was meddling in our election.
I have sort of noticed a pattern of similar occurrences around this president and his former campaign, and have taken to fighting the urge to be distracted, no matter how legitimately awful and/or important the distractions might be.

Wise guy imagery
GOP rhetoric on health care.when it comes to expressing "Free Markets.
For us and Big Government regulations imposed on us by wealth and corporations.

When you find yourself naked on a butchers block. In a butchers shop and meat packing company that sell meat buy the pound to Zoos to feed their carnivores as Lions,Tigers and Polar bears.
And the highest bid on you has been finalized. When the Butcher turns on his saw standing over you.

Will you then realize you are finally in a free market.?????

I get it that the coastal elites consider the rest of the nation as 'fly over' country. But on the other hand if you live on the coasts but not in one of the protected zones for those elites you are considered to me no more than a traffic bumps in their roads.

DG and BG--
I'm looking at DG's blog page, BG's blog page, the podcast page on Stitcher, the itunes page, and the professioal left page.

It's great that the podcast can be accessed from multiple places. What might be confusing is, four someone looking for a midwest-based liberal show, you've got four looks across five platforms. Internet kitties vs. the cornfield resistance, Alfred Hitchcock vs. a pic of BG, American flag vs. a drowning face. What visual impact do you want a potential listener to see that gets to the essence of the podcast, and how could you display that on all platforms? Some one thing that ties them together.

Much of the copy is descriptive...not so engaging. The PL is juicy, no holes barred, refreshingly blunt, suffer no fools, funny, smart, touching, personal, great repartee, a real family...more engaging. These are your product differentiaters, the copy sizzlers. Own them proudly.

Hope that helps.
