And There They Go...

Now watch the Trumpshirts just...
Shrug.
It.
Off.

Because, as one flyover-country wretch once wrote...
Once you start to notice that a depressingly large number of our fellow citizens have become reprogrammable Orwellian meat-puppets, the rise of Trump is not hard to understand at all.

Look on the bright side. At least Donald never took undisclosed sums of cash for delivering off-the-record remarks to gatherings of Goldman Sachs employees. Surely the man is incorruptible and will always act in the best interests of all Americans - the Progressives in particular.

1 March 2017, Gary Cohn, Chair of the Trump Administration's National Economic Council recommends eliminating all financial and economic regulation as well as the SEC because they inhibit the creativity, innovation and freedom of our struggling entrepreneurs to be able to compete in the world.

What happened to my country that they would vote for fascism over sanity?

What I'm seeing now is ever increasing stirring of the rage-o-meter of Trump fanatics aimed most especially against Democratic voters at this time (later this incohate, volatile & ever-encouraged, ever-present rage can be re-directed to the named enemy du jour, such as Muslims, Mexican Amer., AA, women, etc). I see them termed as sore winners, but their vitriol has been ramped up exponentially to where it's not only Pizza Parlor shootings, endless phone called death threats to a Union leader (who told the truth), but calls to either kill, maim and/or round up and kick out all Democratic voters from the USA because we are not "real citizens."

My speculation is that Bannon's hatchet men (I'm sure that it's highly likely they're all men) are given the go-ahead to rile up the rubes in this way to deflect their attention from how very seriously and thorougly the Donald is presently screwing over his base of slavering fans royally. In order to stop them from turning on Trump, they are re-directing their rage at the ever handy targets.

Great. These chumps'll never admit how cleverly & ruthlessly Trump played them for their idiot votes, and anyway, they're always eager to stick it to LIEbruls who are somehow always ruining their precious "economically insecure" lives.

Good luck to all sane citizens in the USA... an ever decreasing minority.

duquesnepdx: We didn't. I believe the current count is 2,676,670 more of us didn't. What we did was lose the 2010 mid terms. Now we have to figure out how to not lose the 2018 mid terms.

@dinthebeast The situation is so fucked up that it's almost comical and definitely surreal.

Deep breaths, deep breaths.

And it is foretold that after Trump's rein.
Pat Robertson will have his presidency of Theocratic vengeance.
Which will bring those same voters being angry from being lied to and promises broken to "
Believe" in

Voting for Alex Jones. VP Pence is the road paver s he was a right wing radio host.

This will continue as they keep blaming liberals for conservative failures and remember.

As I turn to a time when art reflect and initiate consideration of vital arteries of society.

Highlighting what most of us are witnessing, while too many are swallowed by this one sentence.
" Because fanaticism and ignorance is forever busy, and needs feeding"

So not to be taken out of context (which is easy and useful on it's own)

Inherit the wind
Matthew Harrison Brady: [Rises] Is Mr. Drummond saying that this expression of an honest emotion will in any way influence the court's impartial administration of the law?
Henry Drummond: I say that you cannot administer a wicked law impartially. You can only destroy, you can only punish. And I warn you, that a wicked law, like cholera, destroys every one it touches. Its upholders as well as its defiers.
Judge: Colonel Drummond...
Henry Drummond: Can't you understand? That if you take a law like evolution and you make it a crime to teach it in the public schools, tomorrow you can make it a crime to teach it in the private schools? And tomorrow you may make it a crime to read about it. And soon you may ban books and newspapers. And then you may turn Catholic against Protestant, and Protestant against Protestant, and try to foist your own religion upon the mind of man. If you can do one, you can do the other. Because fanaticism and ignorance is forever busy, and needs feeding. And soon, your Honor, with banners flying and with drums beating we'll be marching backward, BACKWARD, through the glorious ages of that Sixteenth Century when bigots burned the man who dared bring enlightenment and intelligence to the human mind!
Judge: I hope counsel does not mean to imply that this court is bigoted.
Henry Drummond: Well, your honor has the right to hope.
Judge: I have the right to do more than that.
Henry Drummond: You have the power to do more than that.
[the Judge holds Drummond in contempt of court]

Republicans:
Oh, so what that he’s a “racist"
Who cares that he’s a shameless narcissist
Pshaw that he’s thin-skinned and vindictive
What’s the big deal that he has multiple conflicts of interest
No biggie that he’s a dishonest bully
Get over his massive ethical blindness
How dare you PC liberals burn the flag
Nobody gives a damn that he lies about illegal voters, and many other things
We like how, where-ever he goes, he sucks all the honesty out of the room.
