@MSNBC Embraces The Suck

This is the idiot to whom Phil Griffin just handed an additional hour of air time on your "Liberal" teevee.

Also please stop asking me to "sign the petition" to get Joe Scarborough fired.  Comcast/MSNBC clearly does not give the tiniest shit what we think to begin with and, except as a means to get a person or an issue on a ballot, petitions are mostly a waste of time and a means to collect email addresses and readership statistics (looking at you, DFA.)

I thought you posted this last week. My YMCA offers early morning Squint and the Meat Puppet and, of course, the Idiots on Fox plus CNBC, which is possibly the most useless network of them all (squawk, squawk). Fortunately, both BBC and al-Jazera are also available for real news.

I just wanted to second your comment about the uselessness of petitions. I get a dozen requests to sign them every day, and I have just given up on them altogether. They accomplish nothing, except in very rare cases, and just succeed in getting your name on even more e-mail lists.

Only possible way to get rid of him is to stop paying attention to him. Alas, even that won't work since his constituency is the Beltway tribe.

As much as it pains me to say this, we are going to have to go the full Greenwald option: Let MSNBC go so far right wing it collapses. MSNBC will never compete with Fox, to the Fox audience it will always be the dirty fucking hippy network, and they will never forgive them for that. Let MSNBC fail, fire Phil Griffin and Andy Card, and start over. Nuke the place from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

Or mebbe Al Gore will buy Free Speech TV and do it right this time.

At least Scar is on in the morning, When I am not inclined to be watching.
( because of the hours I work).
Although I understand the Jello vibrating from the being rewarded with more media time.
Perhaps Griffin thinks he can use Scar like a dream catcher and lure in those on the right (that may still have a flickker of independent thought once away from the FOX. Maybe he thinks the moderates will then begin to venture into the Maddow. Nahw, it is to late for the head-in-the-FOX-hole people.
maybe the trick for his target viewers is to have MIka with cleavage revealing tops and short skirt to look up. This to keep them watching?
I do not watch Morn Joe but have seen vid clips. I will leave his reviews to those he excites.
Just curious, f you could scrub Morn Joe, what would you replace the 4 hours with? What audience would you target during that time slot?
I have been more concerned with the Meet the Press time slot. wider viewership time. Ideal for serious debate of real issues. Not create and imagined by the right wing.
One thing I have noticed, MSNBC probably invites more republicans congressmen and more republican "old fogie hacks" on to speak with than liberal, independent, or Democratic congress folks.
Republicans create , imagine and threaten all the curious controversy. Or so it appears.
I remember during the GW Bush years that all we seen on the TV was republicans. The argument for it (when questioned was) that the GOP is in power and therefore have more relevance. That did not change after the 2006 congressional Thumping. It goes to corporate Media instead of liberal conservative media.
It is like all the laws created around union strikers picketing. So many feet away, not on this sidewalk. Must keep moving at all times. The company will get all the media and the union and its members, well they are not to have equal time or media consideration.
Sort of like the FOX first debate when Black Lives Matter issue got apprx 31 seconds. According to the Nightly Show. Where a POp Tart could not be toasted to eat in that 31 seconds.

Morning again, sir.

As much as it pains me to say this, I tried looking up recent articles on Mr. Scarborough's ratings. Seems they're going up, if I was reading the right ones. All I can say is...

Satan's Colonoscopy...if it pulled strong with the 18-45 demographic, don't you think they'd show it on TV?

Be seeing you.
