Guns and killings in this country have gone from the bizarre to the totally surreal...hard to even process it and comprehend it all anymore. My brain computer just rejects it. The graphic is simple, strong and right to the point. Kudos dg.
Mammon forbid that the Party of Personal Responsibility or the Network of Personal Responsibility ever take any responsibility for their encouraging the fever dreams of violent losers such as David Duke's Idiot Bastard Son, Roofie Boy.Hmmm, I seem to be recalling there is a name for violence committed with a political purpose, such as "ethnic cleansing", which sounds like what Roofie Boy was trying to do in Charleston.IIRC, it's an "ism" of some kind, starts with T, maybe, and sounds kind of like the Latin word for "earth"...dangit, it's on the tip of my tongue...
I have yet to see anyone note the obvious. This was a politically motivated assassination of a noted black political leader. All the rest of the horror is window-dressing in mho. Roof went to that church on purpose, and he aimed to kill Pinkney, who was reasonable, articulate, and being a terrific leader. Good leaders are a problem for the racists. See, e.g., MLK. Are we going to whitewash all of it again and talk about lone gunmen and psychotics until we forget what happened. The news coverage is like the damn Warren Commission.
@Fiddlin BillI also couldn't help but wonder about the fact the Charleston murders came within a week of the attack on the Dallas Police station. Also I thought I saw an article about friends of Bundy shooting at BLM agents out west. Who knows what other attacks have occurred that we've not seen in the media.
