Rand as a "Give-Me-tarian" (so called libertarian) took over his daddy's place as a Give-me-tarian.
Will run for President every time. This is what Daddy Paul did.

-It brings in campaign cash to his war chest to use most any manner he pleases.

-His running draws in libertarians to the republican party and provides Rand with clout in the Republican party. This may help when Rand wants a certain committee position. That pays more.

-The belt way press and insiders will drool over Rand. He is so different and colorful. He says sparky things they can easily write about, even on slow news lulls.. The press will enjoy covering him and ignoring his liabilities and inadequacies.

Of course, I have NO inkling of an iota of a reason why Tand is a U.S. Senator (one of a hundred people)!
Yet, there he is??????????

It is difficult contemplating who might earn the prize of being a Rand Paul Vice Presidential candidate on this imaginary ticket. There again, I might be underestimating the republican party voters.

I will not use the old expression of Empty suit in referring to Rand,
Perhaps a dry bong might fit.

I will five rand this, he can run very well in those High heels.......

Good morning, Mr. Glass.

Hey, man, you don't know, okay? Maybe Mr. Paul is the male lead in his own romantic movie...and it's the final act, where the woman he loves is about to get on a plane, or marry that douchebag Duane...and Mr. Paul has to run to stop her. You don't know!

Enjoy your day.

I really can't wait to see him and Senator Cruz-me-up tear each other apart in the Repub primaries after which, regardless of who wins the primaries, Rand Paul will have to crawl back to Kentucky without a job, because his state does not allow you to run for President and re-election at the same time.

I didn't know that about Kentucky law. That is some really fine news.

What's that line from the A.E. Houseman poem about "the name died before the man"? But maybe Wall Street needs a self-certified ophthalmologist, so who knows?

He says the law "won't deter" him from dual runs although he is campaigning hard to help the GOP take back the State House of Representatives:

Even funnier than the officer levitating in front of Gov Wallace is the claim - made in all seriousness, it would seem - that the marchers and the deputies were on good terms and those photos of dogs "attacking" blacks are in fact staged events where the kindly mutts were teased beyond reason by outside agitators while the occifers valiantly struggled to keep everything peaceful and under control.

The fire hoses do tend to detract from the plausibility of such just-so stories.

Rand Paul, like his father, strikes me as a self-important piss-boy without a clue as to the realities of the world.
