When conservatives turn on each other like this, I always want to shout,

EAT! YOUR! OWN!
EAT! YOUR! OWN!

You know when you get a role on Star Trek and they hand you a "red" shirt to put on. It isn't worth unpacking your suit case.

Now that Cantor is not a high value incumbent held in Washington.
Can we exchange him To the Taliban for something?

Most of all, Can Democratic voters learn that turning out to vote can change things?

Nice Photoshop.

FINALLY, this disgusting excrescence on the body politic has been removed. I don't care that Cantor's vanquisher is even crazier than he is, and that the reason for Cantor's loss was that he was, apparently, too "pro immigrant." It's pleasure enough for me that this unctuous, smug sonofabitch has been roughly pulled of the national stage.

Best of luck in your future endeavors, Eric.

Please let the Democratic candidate be competent. Also smart and scandal-free and not a secret Republican, but I will take competent.

Someone noted that Cantor had lobbied for making his district ultra-conservative thinking it would make it safe for him. Turns out it came back and bit him in the ass. The prick out-thunk hisse'f dint'e.

Now comes the question: Is this a good thing or a bad thing?
I am not optimistic for good. I fear it will just encourage more bomb throwing for the near future and with a barely functioning government the last thing we need is more bomb throwing.

Good morning, Mr. Glass.

Groovy. Now we get treated to the Republicans singing, "Anyone you can hate, I can hate better! I can hate immigrants better than you!"

Enjoy your day.

Brilliant stuff with the Redshirts.

Oh, and about all the kvetching online about what this means for America's future? That Congressional District is a gerrymandered moral swamp (there are a lot of real knuckledraggers in Virginia - I used to live there). Therefore, the question reduces itself to "Will another kind of swamp monster really make a difference?" And the answer is NO.

"Cantor was angry. He did not even adjust his blood away from anger."

@Robt
Yes, yes, a thousand times yes: we need to be painting the electorate red with the fact that the whiners and complainers and saboteurs have it all backwards and if we keep beavering away we can empower the good people.

See you at the polls!

I have a real problem with that image at the top of the page, in that it implies that Boehner-as-Kirk is a ladies' man. I call shenanigans.
