Memory lane, I remember Avalon. Hell, I used to go there when it was Tuts and there was another punk place (Berlin. maybe?) on the other side of Belmont. Before that, say mid-70s, I saw some jazz/blues there when it was called the Quiet Knight.
And of course, there was that breakfast place just down the street for an after-clubbing 5am breakfast.
