Here is how I tried to explain Weiner to a friend who thought he was just a "run-of-the-mill doofus with an ego problem".
"Really? Would a run-of-the-mill doofus get caught emailing pictures of his junk, be humiliated nationally and have to resign a high profile Congressional seat, suffer extreme public contempt and obloquy, then run for Mayor of NY (as opposed to say Podunk) and do it all over AGAIN?!

I'm still amused that his name is Anthony *Weiner*. I guess I'm just juvenile about some things.

When I first read the name Carlos Danger I thought of this guy. Would have been a good name for him. I feel sorry for the real Carlos Danger. There is a real Carlos Danger and he's none too happy about all this. Wouldn't be surprised if he sues Weiner.
