Of course not. Barack Obama was the best choice in 2008 and in 2012 of the two major party candidates, and no other candidates had any chance of winning the presidency. I voted for Barack Obama in 2008 and if my vote would have made any difference I would have done the same in 2012, but as I live in California where he was assured 100% of the electoral votes from my state, I felt okay with expressing a protest vote for the Green candidate. Symbolic only, and worth whatever it may be, but I certainly respect others who chose to vote for Obama.
These midterms are scaring the shit out of me.

No matter how badly the ruling class degenerates in total, no matter how intolerable become the injustices for working people, the poor, minorities etc., one wing of the property party can ALWAYS be shown just a wee bit less vile than the other.
This kind of 'choice' appears for the moment to be keeping the cumulative social bitterness and rage in check. (The reprieve bought by the Obama facelift of Murder Inc. in 2008 is running its course.)
