Loved your show this week. I often try and hunt down the Science Fiction references you make since they so often are stories I read in my teens that have melted into my consciousness like crayons left on the back seat of a car. In hunting down "Vintage Season" I came across an odd little nugget that links this week's podcast across the barriers of time with the original printing of the novella. According to Wikipedia " 'Vintage Season' is a science fiction novella by Henry Kuttner and Catherine L. Moore (under the joint pseudonym 'Lawrence O'Donnell')" !! A coincidence? I think not.

Great show this week. Something else along the same lines of self censorship I happened to notice:
When Bill Moyers asked Paul Krugman to explain just who the Very Serious People he writes about are, he said Simpson, Bowles, and the editorial page of the Washington Post.
No mention of DFB or anyone else New York Times-ey. So I thought, well, Driftglass has already seen this, but write him about it anyway...

Heard you mention the middle Iron Man movie in the podcast, too bad you didn't watch enough to recognize the skeleton of the Fisher King cleverly concealed within its fleshy commercialized bulk.

It makes me a little happy, that Arthurian tales can still sneak their way into pop culture here and there. Or perhaps we really are just cycling through the same 6 stories we have once again.
