Until after the East Coast of the United States sorts itself out.

Link to American Red Cross hurricane relief here.

* 52, for those who asked.  Finally playing with a full deck, you might say :-)

Apropos of nothing since you seem to sleep thru the week and save the best for Friday why are we stuck with a toll like Matthews, who thinks fellow villager, Brooks, is a smart guy, pushing our case. We are lost.

If you don't mind me asking..Are you, like myself and the President, now a half century plus one?
...because that is still freaking me out..
When everyday items the same age as I.. can be featured on "Antiques Roadshow".
Comfortably middle aged..since I plan to live well past 100.
Happy Birthday!
I will toss back a Boulevard Wheat..or 5 in your honor..

But you look so much younger!! ;)

Congrats, and keep up the AMAZING work you're doing, both here and over at 'Gal's place.

Happy Birthday, DG. My observation is to save all of the serious celebrating until next year, when you'll be in your "prime". One of them, anyway!

Happy Birthday. 1960 was an awesome year I see.

They say you're only as old as you feel and that would put me right about 80, I hope you are in better shape.

Good morning, Mr. Glass.

52? But history started in January of 2009. To be older than history, you'd have to be prehistoric, like Driftglass the Barbarian or something.

Anyway, happy anniversary of your birthday. And congrats on the Professional Left Podcast convincing Disney to purchase it for four billion dollars. Just make sure the next podcast is more like the originals, and less like the prequels (no Jar Jar Brooks).

Saw Fran's rather frightful post (David Brooks on your cake. Really?) and decided to surf on in to say happy belated birthday.
