Alright Drifty...here's the deal. You have been the intelligent bulwark against the Pig People tide for waaay too long. It's time to enjoy the fruits of your labor. I've got an airline ticket with your name on it and a hotel room in Chicago for Tuesday night. Get your ass to Chi-Town on Tuesday night and CELEBRATE the victory. I think we won this round. Love your stuff!!!

Reminds me of the "Twilight Zone" series. Can't recall the episode where the astronaut ends up fallin for the babe he laters discovers is a robot. In real life the Bush's are left to gaze on their hell knowing they really have only trinkets for nearly (I hope) destroying America.

There's a seat in hell next Reagan and Pinochet for the both of them. May the dead of this war (on all sides) haunt them.

Wonderful. Perfect. Love it.

I have made a plea on my little place to stop the stupid. We must just stop it. Must.

Tanbark's keyboard is disabled from "Threat Fire" (pos software it is) but he's reading... just can't post :-(

You rock as always, Sir Driftglass!!

There's just something.
So FINAL.
So alone.
So right.

About that graphic.

And yeah, I was thinking about the same Twilight Zone episode Willis mentioned, but THAT was ok.

This one, is not. It's just the two of them, no redemption. No after life. No future.

Just what little time they have left on this rock, and dying every minute of their waking lives, with a growing fear, day by day, as it all crumbles down on them that they were not the savioirs. Hell, they didn't even pass Poppy and Bar. They just failed.

An entire planet.

They. Failed. An. Entire. Planet.

And doomed a legacy of the Bush Family.

History will not be kind to this family. Not from the first one in WW1 thru the last one, in '08.

Likely, their wives will not fare as heroes, much, either. Failures, yes. All of them.

But then, Drifty, yer graphic pretty much spells that out.

Like the atomic desert of another Twilight Zone episode . . . where the lead crushes his glasses, and can't read no mo, now that's he's got the entire planet to hisself.

Lonely, It Goes Both Ways (Alison Krauss). *G*

I wish I had finished my post above with:

"Be careful what you wish for."

But I'm no Drifty . . . ;-)

Thank you, citizens :-) Come what may tomorrow, from start to finish I agree with Bill Maher that this has been the Best Election Ever.

Hef,
Thank you very kindly, but I live in Chicago and the L will take me anywhere I want to go. Unless this is "Hef" at the Playboy Mansion, in which case there are probably a couple of election night amenities that'd be welcome :-)

Gotta run; that salt doesn't mine itself.

Late to the party: Drifty, you RAWK! I'm (tied for) your biggest fan: King of the Photoshop! Long may you wave! The desolation these fuckers have left behind is unparalleled. They cam into office with one mission: to assure as much as possible of the Commons would accrue to their CorpoRat masters, and to paralyze, compromise, or politically sodimize any and every institution and instrument that might assist the PEOPLE to resist their corporatization...

Mission: Accomplished!

Whatever amenities you offer, Hef, I suggest you don't let Drifty play bumper pool for money. I've heard rumors he's quite the hustler.

DG and ma other blog hunnies, I do believe with all my heart that the best is yet to come. xo
