The U.S. Capitol building was locked down about 8 a.m. this morning, after a vehicle drove into an unauthorized area and a man apparently entered the building, authorities said.

Police officers could be seen outside the Capitol complex wielding long rifles, and an aide to Senate Majority leader Bill Frist (R-Tenn.) told CNN that a man had been apprehended just inside an entrance to the building.

U.S. Capitol police were searching room to room, Frist's chief of staff Eric Ueland told CNN. Neither employees nor visitors were allowed to enter or leave the building.
Shortly before 9 a.m. a Senate staffer said the Capitol had been reopened.

OK, maybe not.

But would you really be shocked if “A man” turned out to be “B Ney”?
